1. When did you begin playing visual novels?
December 2010.
2. What was your first visual novel?
Frozen Essence by Unbroken Hours.
3. What are your favourite kind of visual novels?
I wouldn't say I have a "favourite" in Visual Novels, because if its great in one part, but lacks in other aspects - then it really won't be "amazing" to me. I do however, like in particular complex plot lines, or ones with a diverse cast of characters.
4. Do you like otome or bishoujo games?
I prefer otome, but I'm willing to play either - as long as the art or story line captures my attention.
5. What do you always look for when playing a visual novel?
Art is always a must, since it's called a "visual" novel for a reason. Secondly, is the story line. Art without a good story is simply boring and two-dimensional without any real depth.
6. Do you play commercial or non-commercial?
Both. In all honesty though, I've played non-commercial more. I feel like there are a lot of visual novelists out there who sometimes have even more potential than major visual companies.
7. Are you critical in your reviews?
Yes. Feel free to impress me ;)
8. Do you use any other websites? If so, where can I find you?
For all websites pertaining to Visual Novels, I go by the username OnionChan. Kudos to you if you manage to find me ;)
9. What's the purpose of this blog?
To express my thoughts on visual novels (since I love to rant), and to help all those visual novelists out there improve their works. Also, for the player's benefits - if in need of help, feel free to message me.
10. Would you play a game I recommend?
Sure. I'm always up for it - as long as it interests me. Just refer to the "requests" section on how to send a request ^_^
